Update and Validate contact details in e-Filing portal

All the tax payer who logs in to https://incometateaxindiaefiling.gov.in/  is asking the tax payer to validate the email id and mobile number as provided . The provided contact mobile no and email id’s can be modified and set new email id and mobile no.

Once we login with user id and password it will prompt to enter and validate the details. Unless one validate it willnot allow the user to do any other activity.

There is also another option to add secondary contact details of a CA / ERI / TRP or any other authorized person. Once you click continue it will send an email pin and mobile pin and both are needed to proceed further. If the pin is not received one can request for re sending it.
one email and contact mobile number can be linked up to 10 user account beyond which it will not accept. This might be useful information for CA or ERI or TRP’s who will be filing on behalf of their clients.
