i m a malaysian who studying in India, having a fixed deposit account..
my question is, i don't have a PAN account, m i liable to TDS on my fixed deposit interest?
i m just a student without any income, so, if i m liable to TDS, how to avoid that?
@cLoUD You can give Form 15G or 15H which states you dont have taxable income in india and dont deduct tds on your interest income
