CBDT has decided to extend the time limit for filing ITR-V forms relating to income tax returns for A.Y.2010-11 filed electronically(without digital signature) on or after 1st April 2010. These taxpayers are being given a final oppurtunity to send ITR-V forms to the CPC, Banglore by the date menioned in para 1 above.
The ITR-V forms should be send by ordinary post or speed post to
Post Bag no. 1, Electronic City Post Office,
Banglore – 560100 (Karnatka).
One can check online as to their ITR-V is received by the department or not online as well.
