Malaysia warns against job scams Beware Job aspirants

Many of us will be crazy to work in Malaysia !!! and will get lot of SMS/Mails with offers correct??

Here is one important information which they need to consider before jumpin for conclusion.

Malaysian consulates in India have cautioned the public to be wary of lucrative job offers being made by unscrupulous syndicates that have been utilizing names of reputed Malaysian companies to cheat people.

Diplomatic sources said there have been more than 350 cases of employment-related scams, with international syndicates placing advertisements online and offering jobs in Malaysia with handsome salaries. In some cases, people had remitted between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh through banks or online, but the offers turned out to be fake.

The Malaysian consulate in Chennai issues more than 350 visas employment as well as tourist a day. The consulate has urged people to double-check with the embassy in New Delhi or itself regarding all such job offers. The consulate has made it clear that ministries and agencies under the government of Malaysia never seeks payment online from applicants. The consulate has also cautioned people about prize-redemption schemes, lucky draws or contests offered by Malaysian companies on the Internet. According to the Malaysian consulate here, the fraudulent syndicates provide letters or certificates purportedly issued by the Malaysian government to facilitate visa clearance. Applicants are asked to make payments electronically for further assistance in the employment process.

No more free ATM access

RBI has made Free - with effect from April 1, 2009 but after this Banks have started getting many practical difficulty in handling inter-banking settlement specially for small value transactions. So Customers will be offered five free third-party withdrawals per month

From Tuesday,13th October 2009, banks will start charging customers Rs 18-20 every time they withdraw money from another bank's ATM, and such withdrawals will also face a limit of Rs 10,000.

Customers will be offered five free third-party withdrawals per month from savings accounts and will be charged from the sixth transaction onwards.

However, all banks are not offering the same facility of five free withdrawals per month to current account and no-frills account customers. For instance, HSBC and HDFC Bank will charge current account customers for all third-party withdrawals.

Customers have been enjoying the flexibility of withdrawing cash from any banks' ATM free-of-charge since April 1, 2009 since a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) directive to that effect came into force.

Chikungunya fever in Bangalore

Recently I have observed cases of Chikungunya fever is increasing day by day. Public need to take adequate precaution for the same. I have not seen any vaccine available in Alopathic medicine but one can take Homeopathic preventive dose to protect themselves against Chikungunya.

Some facts about Chikungunya :

Chikungunya fever, is a viral illness that is spread by the bite of infected mosquitoes. The disease resembles dengue fever, and is characterized by severe, sometimes persistent, joint pain (arthritis), as well as fever and rash. It is rarely life-threatening. Nevertheless widespread occurrence of diseases causes substantial morbidity and economic loss

The incubation period of Chikungunya disease is from two to four days. Symptoms of the disease include a fever up to 40 °C (104 °F), a petechial or maculopapular rash of the trunk and occasionally the limbs, and arthralgia or arthritis affecting multiple joints. Other nonspecific symptoms can include headache, conjunctival infection, and slight photophobia. Typically, the fever lasts for two days and then ends abruptly. However, other symptoms namely joint pain, intense headache, insomnia and an extreme degree of prostration -- last for a variable period; usually for about 5 to 7 days.Patients have complained of joint pains for much longer time periods depending on their age

Chikungunya virus is indigenous to tropical Africa and Asia, where it is transmitted to humans by the bite of infected mosquitoes, usually of the genus Aedes. Chikungunya virus belongs to alpha-virus under Togaviridae family. It is an "Arbovirus" (Ar-arthropod, bo-borne). CHIK fever epidemics are sustained by human-mosquito-human transmission. The word "chikungunya" is thought to derive from description in local dialect of the contorted posture of patients afflicted with the severe joint pain associated with this disease. The main virus reservoirs are monkeys, but other species can also be affected, including humans

The most effective means of prevention are protection against contact with the disease-carrying mosquitoes and mosquito control. These include using insect repellents with substances like DEET (N,N-Diethyl-meta-toluamide; also known as N,N'-Diethyl-3-methylbenzamide or NNDB), icaridin (also known as picaridin and KBR3023), PMD (p-menthane-3,8-diol, a substance derived from the lemon eucalyptus tree), or IR3535. Wearing bite-proof long sleeves and trousers (pants) also offers protection. In addition, garments can be treated with pyrethroids, a class of insecticides that often has repellent properties. Vaporized pyrethroids (for example in mosquito coils) are also insect repellents. Securing screens on windows and doors will help to keep mosquitoes out of the house. In the case of the day-active Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus, however, this will have only a limited effect, since many contacts between the vector and the host occur outside

There is effective medicine in Homeopathy which can build your immune system to protect you from Chikungunya.
