You are aware that many villages in Karnataka have been marooned by the recent unprecedented heavy rainfall causing loss of life, livestock, property running in crores of rupees. In just five days from 28th September to 3rd October, North Karnataka have faced unprecedented deluge. The State Government has taken all emergent steps to provide necessary relief and rehabilitation to the flood affected people of the state.
People are trapped in many parts of the state in worst floods in recent memory inundating the 18 districts in Karnataka. While the massive amount of water is slowly withdrawing, the damage and emergency need is showing its true colors. People have lost their houses and belongings. The standing crops are gone. Flood has destroyed the total source of their livelihood. Many families are also struggling to cope amid food shortages.

Financial contributions can be made thorugh Cheque or Bank Draft drawn in favour of
“ Calamity Relief Fund of Karnataka “ which will be credited to the Head of account with the Code 08235-00-111-0-02 Public Contribution to the Calamity Relief “ and may be remitted in
Bangalore One Centers.
